Production Manager and Sales Training Event Draw Large Crowds in June

Press release from the issuing company

In June, CPrint (Certified Printers International) recently held it annual Production Managers Conference in Chicago and its annual Sales Training Course in Nashville in front of its largest ever crowds. More than 45 companies and 65 production managers and owners attended the only Production Manager-specific conference in the country while more than 40 sales people attended the Nashville training. All of the companies are participants in the Crouser Professional Performance Alliance. According to Tom Crouser, president of CPrint, the production managers heard from top industry experts from vendors such as Gans Ink, Presstek, Assured Compliance Solutions, Digital IMS, Prismatek and Staffing Tools.com. In addition to knowledge training from top suppliers, production managers were also trained in ‘soft’ skills relating to managing and supervising people. Said Crouser, “Production management is more than just making sure the equipment is running. Production managers have to lead and motivate their staffs. More than half of the conference was dedicated to helping production managers become better leaders.” The Production Manager conference comes on the heels of CPrint annual sales training course held in Nashville. More than 40 sales people from throughout North America spent three days learning how to become better sales people. The Alliance’s new sales video, MONEY, was also introduced during the sales training course. Said Crouser, “To be competitive, a printing company needs to know how to sell. CPrint has developed a unique training program that gives sales people the tools to get out in front the customer and be successful. We have provided the program for several years and it continues to grow. Now we are expanding that information to video training to reach more Alliance employees.” CPrint has a sales conference scheduled for Memphis in December. The conference will feature sales training experts as well as vendors who will be providing product knowledge. Approximately 60 sales people are expected to take part in the program. To participate, printing companies must be part of the Crouser Professional Performance Alliance.
