T/R Systems Allowed New Patent for Clustering Technology

ATLANTA--Aug. 4, 2003-- T/R SYSTEMS, INC., a leader in developing innovative solutions for the management and production of digital documents, announced today that the United States patent office has allowed an additional patent regarding its clustering technology. This patent addresses parallel processing of large jobs in a multi-device or a multi-processor environment. "This technology emerged as we developed new ways in which work could be spread among multiple processors to accelerate overall throughput," said Neal Tompkins, Chief Technology Officer of T/R Systems. "This is our fourth new patent in recent months, and represents a significant step forward in protecting the value of the technologies that we have pioneered." T/R Systems currently holds 18 patents, including this most recent allowance, and 13 additional patent filings in the U.S. and abroad.
