This patent addresses parallel processing of large jobs in a multi-device or a multi-processor environment. "This technology emerged as we developed new ways in which work could be spread among multiple processors to accelerate overall throughput," said Neal Tompkins, Chief Technology Officer of T/R Systems. "This is our fourth new patent in recent months, and represents a significant step forward in protecting the value of the technologies that we have pioneered." T/R Systems currently holds 18 patents, including this most recent allowance, and 13 additional patent filings in the U.S. and abroad.
