Admore Adds Agfa CTP System, includes Apogee Workflow

Press release from the issuing company

August 4, 2003 -- Admore, the leading manufacturer in the presentation folder products market sold through distributors, has installed a new Computer To Plate (CTP) system from AGFA. The recently purchased equipment includes an Agfa Apogee Workflow with X45S 1-Bin Automatic Platesetter & Sherpa 43 Digital Proofer. It accommodates full color, multiple format work up to 40" with impression counts as high as a million from a single thermal baked plate. This new system will further enhance Admore’s current award winning quality while improving workflow and turnaround time for customers. The completely digital workflow will speed up the overall pre-press time from disk to proofing to plate. In addition, imaging directly on the plate produces a sharper, cleaner dot for finer print resolution with better registration on press. "Using the latest technology keeps us at the forefront of today’s fast paced market and allows us to pass on added benefits to our customers," expressed Bill Tignanelli, General Manager of the Macomb facility.
