Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA - The Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) today announced that the XEROX Corporation will be the official sponsor of the educational sessions of the upcoming EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference, being held on Saturday, September 27, 2003, in conjunction with the GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO exhibition which opens on Sunday, September 28, 2003 for a four day run at McCormick Place South, Chicago, Illinois. “Graphic Arts Show Company is pleased to continue it’s strong relationship with XEROX Corporation as the sponsor of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK,” said William Smythe, Vice President,NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES). “As a provider of advanced document print technology, the pairing of XEROX and this high-level audience of industry leaders is particularly appropriate, especially in light of the technological focus of the conference theme this year,” he added. EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK is the traditional "day-before-the-show" conference for printing, publishing and converting industry executives, providing insight into trends, industry issues and the technology that will enable print to grow in an increasingly competitive environment.  This year's conference theme is "Profiting With the Right Technology -- Struggling Without it -- A Print Manager's Survival Kit." "Although the focus of the Conference's educational sessions will be on the practical application of technology, the full spectrum of industry issues and opportunities will be probed," noted William C. Lamparter, President of the PrintCom Consulting Group, who will chair the all-day conference. "XEROX is committed to supporting quality education efforts within the commercial print industry, and we recognize the value of the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference sessions," said Tom Wetjen, Vice President / General Manager, XEROX Graphic Arts. "The theme of this year's conference is especially relevant to XEROX. We fundamentally believe that the right combination of technology and innovation leads to fiscal success," Wetjen added. A complete program agenda and conference registration information is available on the internet at www.graphexpo.com.
