DAYTON, Ohio--July 29, 2003--Standard Register has finalized a formal marketing alliance with Lawson Software, a provider of business process software solutions developed and designed to serve the needs of service organizations in the healthcare, retail, professional services, public sector, and financial services markets. Under the terms of this agreement, Standard Register will provide complementary software solutions to allow customers to produce and automate secure documents in a more efficient and cost-effective manner. With Standard Register's "distributed output management" products - LinkUp, LinkUp Enterprise, and Patient LinkUp Enterprise - Lawson customers can streamline the production and automation of financial and healthcare-related documents received from Lawson's software system(s) to securely manage the document automation and output process across the entire enterprise. For financial documents, more than 4,000 companies use Standard Register's LinkUp Enterprise (LUE) to manage printing of their payroll and accounts payable checks securely, across the enterprise. For Lawson Software Payables customers, LUE provides the ability to handle a wide variety of document-output-management tasks where the ability to print secure documents remotely and securely is of critical importance.
