Beveridge and Miles to Speak at Top Industry Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Alexandria, VA – When the independent segment of the document industry meets in Las Vegas October 21-24 at the 2003 Print Solutions Conference & Expo, Conference registrants will be able to choose from among twenty-four different speakers and presenters. The Conference, sponsored by the Document Management Industries Association (DMIA), offers 10 Sales & Marketing Sessions, 12 Education Sessions, plus two General Sessions. On Wednesday, October 22 Dirk Beveridge of the Beveridge Consulting Group will speak at the Conference General Session Luncheon. Mr. Beveridge carries the distinction of being the highest rated speaker in DMIA history, having received perfect scores on the audience feedback sheets from his 2002 presentation. This year Beveridge will speak about the Business Operating System Standard, or BOSS. Developed as a new millennium survival tool, BOSS is a proprietary system designed to keep businesses strong in the face of uncertain market conditions and constant change. On Thursday, October 23 the second General Session will convene with Mr. Frank Miles at the podium. Years ago Mr. Miles died during a hang gliding accident and was revived by emergency room doctors. After a full recovery he embarked on a new career as a professional variety comedian. Using comedy, juggling, music and magic, Miles illustrates simple techniques that free people from self imposed limits. His presentation will focus on overcoming fear, the number one impediment to success and achievement. Mr. Miles' session will be open to Expo Only attendees as well as Conference attendees. The 2003 Print Solutions Conference & Expo, the 58th consecutive annual meeting of the independent segment of the document industry, is sponsored each year by the Document Management Industries Association. The suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors who form the industry are represented equally by the DMIA. The independent segment of the document industry controls over one half the production and distribution of documents and related products and services in North America.
