Exstream Software Expands Sales Internationally, Opens Nordic Office

Press release from the issuing company

July 22, 2003 -- Exstream Software, Inc. announced today the opening of an office in Oslo, Norway for the purpose of directly selling and supporting Exstream's Dialogue™ software, the world standard for high performance enterprise personalization, throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions of Europe. Close to 40 percent of Exstream's current Dialogue customers are in Western Europe and Australia—mostly sold through Exstream's distributors located in these regions. The addition of a direct sales office in Oslo highlights the expansion opportunity Exstream sees worldwide for enterprise personalization software. Exstream's overall plan is to continue its global expansion with the opening of several additional international offices this year. The first of these, Exstream CEE, opened in Prague, the Czech Republic in March 2003. The newly formed Oslo office, Exstream Nordic, is slated to open August 1, 2003 and will provide enterprise-wide variable print and electronic solutions to businesses in Nordic markets. Kjell Beisland, who has been appointed managing director, will direct the new office. Other key staff members include Eric Mandeville, director of sales and marketing; and Vidar Berge, technical director. Exstream Nordic will also work closely with IBM, Xerox, and Emitto Nordic under existing agreements that involve collaboration in marketing, sales and service. Initial focus for Exstream Nordic will be the financial, telecommunications, utility, printing and service bureau industries. “I am delighted to direct the opening of Exstream's Oslo office,” said Kjell Beisland, managing director of Exstream Nordic. “The opportunities Dialogue presents for companies in the Nordic region are significant, and I look forward to helping these businesses strengthen customer loyalty and generate additional revenue by implementing fully personalized communications.” Acquiring over 200 sites worldwide in just over three years, Exstream continues to take the business world by storm with its award-winning Dialogue technology. International heavy-hitters, including Cardiff Financial Services, Bouygues Telecom, Cegetel, Logitaine Bank in France, Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) in Switzerland, Viterra Telecommunications in Germany, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia, among others, are benefiting from Exstream's Dialogue software with as much as 40 percent improved time to market, increased customer satisfaction and up to 80 percent in cost reductions. Dialogue is the only software solution on the market that combines personalized document creation, campaign management and tracking, and multi-channel delivery in one easy-to-use software suite. “Opening our second international sales office is an exciting milestone for Exstream,” said Davis Marksbury, president and CEO of Exstream Software. “We have documented success stories from a myriad of North American, European and Asian Pacific companies using Dialogue, so it is exciting to offer this powerful technology to businesses in this area of the globe as well. Opening the Oslo office reinforces Exstream's continued commitment to introduce companies throughout the world to the bottom-line benefits personalized communications bring.”
