Pinnacle Data Systems Maximizes ROI with Exstream's Dialogue

Press release from the issuing company

LEXINGTON, Ky.--July 17, 2003-- Exstream Software, Inc. announced today that Pinnacle Data Systems, a full service document management and distribution company located in Birmingham, Alabama, has experienced such positive results with its Dialogue software it plans to use it for processing the more than 6.5 million page images produced monthly. With Dialogue, Pinnacle is redesigning customer statements, creating highly targeted direct mail campaigns and transitioning its banking, credit union and telecommunications customers from print to Web-based applications. Dialogue is providing Pinnacle an enterprise-wide solution for expanded document management and production, as well as dramatically improving the company's production processes by significantly reducing costs and increasing speed-to-market. Pinnacle selected Dialogue based on a number of key drivers. These include its high performance engine, which is capable of processing transaction driven 1:1 statements and other documents significantly faster than Pinnacle's previous technology. For example, the production time for a banking application involving 500,000 digital images has been reduced from seven hours to just 20 minutes using Dialogue. Dialogue's "design once, deliver anywhere" ability has also contributed to a dramatic decrease in production time by allowing Pinnacle to accept data of any type, create an application once and then deliver it through multiple print and electronic channels without the need for reprogramming. Another consideration was Dialogue's Output Sorting and Bundling module, which combines customer mailings to further reduce costs and convey information to the customer more quickly. Pinnacle reports that Output Sorting has reduced postal costs up to $5,000 per month in some instances by commingling documents into a single envelope to eliminate multiple mailings to the same recipient. Pinnacle is also using Dialogue's robust campaign management to offer customers the option of inserting pertinent marketing messages into available white space on statements. Pinnacle's telecommunications customers are taking advantage of this opportunity to cross-sell and up-sell products, such as various long distance and local calling promotions. Additionally, Dialogue's easy-to-use design interface makes it possible for Pinnacle's graphic designers to work side-by-side with programmers to better answer the demand for marketing-driven, personalized direct mail pieces. "We are truly amazed at how much Dialogue has helped us expand our business. And we continue to be shocked at the tremendous cost/benefit it delivers. Dialogue is allowing us to create documents faster, produce a more creative document and get to market with amazing speed," said Robert Reddinger, president, Pinnacle Data Systems. "Based on what Dialogue is doing for this company, we are total believers." Dialogue's eFulfillment capabilities fully support Pinnacle's plans to move customers from print to Web-based applications by creating statements and check images in HTML or XML for customer viewing on the Internet. Pinnacle is using Dialogue to produce its own personalized marketing campaigns targeted to credit unions, encouraging them to enhance their services by offering statements and other information online for the convenience of their customers. "We are excited about the expanded opportunities and positive results Dialogue is bringing to Pinnacle Data Systems," said Davis Marksbury, president and CEO of Exstream Software. "Dialogue's speed and efficiency make it a perfect solution for any company looking to exceed the competition when it comes to providing added value in terms of speed to market and reduced costs."
