HUDSON, N.H., July 14 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology today announced that it has established a new distribution channel in the Benelux. Presstek has appointed Blikman & Sartorius, of Omnigraph Group BV, to sell and service its Dimension series of CTP systems and chemistry-free CTP plates in the Netherlands. B&S will also sell and service the Ryobi 3404DI direct digital imaging press and related consumables. The Ryobi 3404 DI press is also distributed in Belgium by MAN Roland, a sister Omnigraph company. David Ventola, Presstek's General Manager -- Off Press said, "As Presstek enters the next phase of its market-focused emphasis it is essential to work with partners who have a strong sales and service network and who have demonstrated a firm commitment to CTP and DI solutions. Both Blikman & Sartorius and MAN Roland Belgium have a strong organization that provides an extensive portfolio of digital imaging solutions, as well as traditional prepress and pressroom products. We look forward to working with them to further expand Presstek's presence in the Benelux market." Blikman & Sartorius will be working closely with its sister company, MAN Roland, in the Netherlands focusing on smaller commercial printers with less than 20 employees. Presstek's CTP solutions are tailored for the small to medium sized printer. Mr. Henry de Vaal, Director of Blikman & Sartorius said, "Most printers are now moving into computer-to-plate systems.
