WAVE Partners with Banta, Acquires Banta's B-media assets

MENASHA, Wis., and LONGWOOD, Fla., July 8 -- Banta Corporation, a market leader in printing and supply-chain management, and WAVE Corporation, an engineering and software development company, today announced a strategic partnership to provide the most comprehensive range of content and asset management solutions in the industry. The partnership will provide a complete range of software products that are critical to managing multi-channel publishing processes, including print, Internet and variable publishing channels. WAVE has acquired the intellectual property and assumed the future product development and technical support for B-media, Banta's enterprise-class content management software platform. This new partnership enables Banta to continue marketing and selling B-media software, while assuring existing customers receive a high level of software support. In addition, Banta will now offer its customers MediaBank, WAVE's world-class asset management application, as well as the company's other print-related software products. This combination of content management products will expand the offerings of both companies while providing customers with a complete bundle of solutions from a single source.
