VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA -- July 7, 2003 -- Creo Inc. announces the appointment of Israel Sandler as managing director of Creoo EMEA, responsible for the company's regional operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With 20 years of high tech and leadership experience, Mr. Sandler joined Creo in August 2002 as vice president of sales and marketing for Creo Europe. Before joining Creo, Mr. Sandler was CEO of TDI Systems in Herzlia, Israel. He also served in managerial roles for several other high tech companies, including Scitex Corporation Ltd. "In a relatively short time Israel has been able to help focus and lead the sales and marketing team resulting in increased performance and a new spirit for sales and marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa," said Judi Hess, president, Creo Inc. "We look forward to what his spirit and drive can do to lead Creo EMEA to new successes." Mr. Sandler completed the senior management program at INSEAD in France, studied marketing at Tel Aviv University, and attained a B.Sc. degree from Brigham Young University of Provo, Utah. He will continue to be based in the European headquarters of Creo in Waterloo, Belgium. Mr. Sandler replaces Alon Lumbroso who is returning to Israel after eight years abroad, including managing the European operations of Creo for the last three years.
