Xeikon America Expands Direct Sales Force

Itasca, Ill., July 1, 2003 - Xeikon America, leading provider of production digital color printing systems, today announced the appointment of three additional regional managers: MaryAnn Johns will cover the North Central region, James Keenan the Southeast and Jan Hommema the upper Midwest. "We are pleased to welcome MaryAnn, Jim and Jan to the Xeikon team," says Ivan C. Verheye, President and CEO of Xeikon America. "In recent months, we have witnessed a notable increase in sales activity and interest in Xeikon solutions. Strengthening our sales team will help us manage this growth." Ms. Johns joins Xeikon America from Scitex Vision, where she was responsible for sales of large format printers in the Northwest. Prior to Scitex Vision, she worked at Heidelberg USA. MaryAnn Johns will be based in EauClaire, Mich. and will be covering the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. Keenan also joins Xeikon America from Scitex Vision, where he was responsible for sales of inks and substrates, and assisted with sales of large format printers in the Western states. Jim will be based in Cumming, Ga. and will be responsible for sales in Alabama, North and South Carolina, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Hommema held sales positions at HP/Indigo and, prior to that, MAN Roland and Xerox. He will be based in Bloomington, Minn. and will be covering the states of North and South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, most of Wisconsin, and the metropolitan Kansas City area.
