Corel and Lynda.com Introduce Corel Training CDs

SEATTLE--June 30, 2003-- Corel Corporation today announced that Lynda.com has produced training CDs for Corel's graphics applications Corel Painter 8(TM) and CorelDRAW 11. Lynda.com, a leading online training resource, provides software training for professional users of desktop publishing, digital image editing and Web publishing tools to audiences worldwide. The Web site currently offers over 2,800 movie files, providing in-depth training on a wide array of topics for several creative applications. The Corel training CDs, entitled Getting Started with Corel Painter 8(TM) and Getting Started with CorelDRAW 11, each feature over thirty, cross-platform QuickTime movies. Getting Started with Corel Painter 8: Provides information on how to use Corel Painter 8, such as learning the Corel Painter 8 workspace, working with brushes, colors, and textures, different file formats, and Wacom tablets, as well as sketching, painting, and photography techniques using different artistic mediums. Getting Started with CorelDRAW 11: Provides information on how to use CorelDRAW 11, such as learning the workspace, working with objects, paths, shapes and tools, file format support, integration with Corel PHOTO-PAINT, as well as multiple page documents, layout, typography and design techniques.
