MONTREAL--June 27, 2003-- Quebecor World Inc. received industry recognition on May 17th when it won 2 Gold Awards at the annual Sappi North America Printer of the Year Awards held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The awards, which recognize printer excellence and innovation for work on Sappi paper, were won by 8 Quebecor World facilities in the United States and Canada. This is the second consecutive year that Quebecor World received 2 Gold Awards. Nearly 600 printers from across North America submitted more than 3,100 entries in this year's competition. From these entries the judges initially selected six award winners for silver and bronze awards in the following categories: annual reports, books, brochures, catalogs, magazines and general. The judges then selected the best in each category to win the Gold Award.
