HP Customers Open Their Doors to Demonstrate the Advantages of Digital Printing

Press release from the issuing company

JUNE 25, 2003 – HP takes industrial printing to the streets this summer with a series of open houses at both customer and solution-partner sites. Several on-demand, digital printing solutions from HP will be demonstrated for converters of labels, film packaging and graphic attachments. In addition, the open houses will include presentations by HP converter customers and HP executives as well as open Q&A sessions. "We hope to advance the industrial digital printing market by showing how our state-of-art digital printing capabilities can be utilized to help businesses grow while improving their profitability," explains Ray Fennelly, regional marketing specialist, HP Digital Publishing Solutions. "Not only does on-demand digital print technology allow customers to manufacture and market more efficiently, but it does so with a high degree of print quality." By printing on-demand, versioned data directly on a wide variety of substrates, digital printing streamlines manufacturing processes and reduces lead times to increase flexibility and responsiveness to market dynamics.
