BOSTON--June 13, 2007-- Pageflex, a division of Bitstream Inc. and a leading developer of enterprise variable publishing and web-to-print solutions, announced today the conclusion of the First Annual Pageflex User Group Conference, held in Cambridge, MA. The conference brought together nearly 100 Pageflex software users from around the world for a 2-day educational program that offered technical, marketing and business development updates, in-depth sessions on new product features, and informative presentations on publishing industry trends.

Industry expert and leading InfoTrends analyst Barb Pellow was the keynote speaker. She highlighted the evolving direct marketing industry with statistics, case studies and trend information that underscored the value and effectiveness of variable data printing solutions. Business sessions provided users with information on selling and marketing the services they create with Pageflex products, while the numerous technical sessions offered the latest tips and techniques for the use of Pageflex solutions. The event enabled customers to interact closely with their peers and Pageflex staff to maximize the benefits of the Pageflex variable data publishing technologies they utilize.

"The User Group Conference showed Pageflex's commitment to their customers by providing a forum for learning, discussion and feedback," explained Adam Peck, senior research analyst, Document Outsourcing Consulting Services. "Pageflex's forward-thinking product development and dedication to their customers is what makes their organization a leading software and solutions provider."

"My work is concentrated on the services we produce with Pageflex products, so the business presentations were of particular interest to me, but I found value in all of the sessions I attended," explained Michael Iulo, vice president of sales, e-Integrity. "The networking within the Pageflex community gave me new insight and created new business opportunities as well. Overall, the conference was extremely beneficial."

Anna Chagnon, president and CEO of Bitstream Inc. added, "Pageflex solutions have enabled users to engage their customers in more effective marketing campaigns. These events allow our teams to teach users how to bring the technology to its full potential, ultimately expanding their business offerings. We in turn get valuable feedback and suggestions as to how we can make our solutions work even better for users. This was a constructive opportunity for everyone involved."
