Las Vegas, NV (NEXPO Booth #122) – June 16, 2003 – Autologic, an Agfa Company, announced today the availability of :Plateroom Manager Foundation Edition, an economical version of the highly successful :Plateroom Manager prepress workflow software with over 100 installations. :Plateroom Manager controls physical data of the newspaper, allowing users to control, manage and track production of films and printing plates. :Plateroom Manager Foundation Edition provides users a solid foundation for future options and growth such as automatic ink preset information for the press, imposition, load balanced output over multiple devices, tracking of multiple events, interface to press management system, and multiple web clients for softproof and tracking. When the user is ready, :Plateroom Manager Foundation Edition can be upgraded to the full version of :Plateroom Manager. :Plateroom Manager Foundation Edition also provides complete tracking and control of CtP output for smaller customers where future expansion may not be needed.
