ORLANDO, Fla.--June 17, 2003-- Today at SAPPHIRE, Adobe Systems Incorporated, announced that the Adobe and SAP alliance will be delivering joint print and forms solutions aimed at helping SAP customers further improve the efficiency of communications across the entire value chain. Over the coming months, SAP expects to deliver solutions and other applications that leverage this jointly developed offering. "Documents are one face every organization puts on data to turn it into information people can work with," said Shai Agassi, executive board member, SAP. "The SAP and Adobe alliance is helping customers realize the benefits of lowering TCO and increasing productivity by implementing SAP solutions, through the power of SAP NetWeaver(TM), that bring manual document processes on line in an error free manner." Whether forms, letters or reports, paper or electronic, documents are a critical point of connection between the information and services companies offer to employees, customers and partners. The SAP and Adobe alliance is addressing key problem areas facing enterprises today such as automating forms, eliminating paper, and keeping compliant with government initiatives. SAP and Adobe joint solutions leverage the ubiquitous Adobe Reader, allowing SAP customers to reliably reach the extended enterprise. Now, SAP solutions will have the extended capabilities of connecting documents and people in a way that is integrated, actionable and interactive - both on and off line.
