Xaar Strengthens Asia Presence With Appointment Of New Sales Manager

June 17, 2003 -- Expanding its presence in the Asian market, Xaar plc has appointed a new sales account manager to enhance its existing China-based sales and technical support team. Based in Shanghai, Edwin Shiu will be responsible for local client account management, business development and after-sales advice and support. Prior to joining Xaar, Edwin worked as product planning manager for security solutions provider PCCW SecureNet Asia Ltd and brings with him a wealth of experience in operations and business development. In his new role, Edwin will provide professional advice to customers, as well as developing new business opportunities for Xaar in the packaging printing and industrial printing markets.
