Andromeda: OS X Upgrades for Photographic Tools & Lens Effects

June 10, 2003 -- Westlake Village, CA – Andromeda Software, Inc. today announced the release of Mac OS X upgrades for its Photoshop compatible plug-ins: ScatterLight Lenses, LensDoc, VariFocus and Perspective. Including the new RedEyePro, these five filters comprise Andromeda's Photographic Tools & Lens Effects Collection. Andromeda will be releasing its Artistic Screening Tools Collection: Series 3 Screens, Cutline and EtchTone later this summer. Upgrades for registered owners of these products can be purchased at the prices listed below by calling (800)547-0055 or (805)379-4109. ** ScatterLight Lenses- $19.95 ** VariFocus- $19.95 ** Perspective- $19.95 ** LensDoc- $29.95 The LensDoc filter has had a number of new features added to both the Mac and Windows versions, which constitute the slightly higher upgrade fee. LensDoc is a universal solution to lens distortions such as barreling and pin-cushioning caused by many zoom and wide-angle lenses. The new features for LensDoc includes: ** Additional correction curve presets for Nikon & Olympus lenses. ** Optional Set of placement targets for better accuracy. ** Small screen mode for laptops at 640x480 pixels. ** Mac OS X compatibility "Our Mac audience is very important to us.
