Enfocus To Debut CertifiedPDF.net

Press release from the issuing company

Ghent, Belgium and San Mateo, CA – June 2, 2003 – Enfocus Software, the industry leader in PDF-related software tools for the graphic arts community, is today previewing CertifiedPDF.net, the company’s comprehensive initiative to facilitate secure, reliable and accurate digital file exchange. Currently in beta and set to go live on June 11, 2003, this new Web-based service will allow PDF users and producers to exchange PDFs with greatest confidence and certainty. CertifiedPDF.net will ensure that both document creators and receivers are able to share the most up-to-date specifications when creating, exchanging, verifying and working with PDF files. CertifiedPDF.net is an online resource for PDF specifications, accessible to all members of the graphic arts community. Contributing members such as printers, publishers, or industry associations, can publish the specifications they support, and all related documentation. Subscribing members can, at no charge, search for and download relevant specifications, as well as subscribe to receive updates. Through the notification features built into the next releases of Enfocus software products like PitStop Server and Instant PDF, CertifiedPDF.net will automatically contact the user whenever a particular specification has been updated. Subscribers can also choose email notification, which does not require an application. Previews of CertifiedPDF.net will be shown at the PDF Conference today in Bethesda, MD. Full details on the new CertifiedPDF.net will be announced at its formal launch on June 11 at the upcoming Seybold PDF Summit in Amsterdam.
