June 3, 2003 -- (WhatTheyThink.com) -- After 33 years, Gordon Wahls Executive Search of Bromall PA, recognized as the leader in executive recruiting for the printing/packaging, publishing, paper, and related graphic arts industries, closed its doors Friday, May 30, 2003. Founded in 1960 to provide executive placement services for the printing industry, Gordon Wahls grew to more than 20 people on staff at its highest point, and placed over 200 candidates a year. A source close to the company said that Gordon Wahls was slowly recovering from the slump following 9/11. But the downturn meant less hiring and people just aren’t as willing to move as much as before.
