Print-O-Tape Positions Itself For Growth With Radius Software

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – (May 28, 2003) Print-O-Tape Inc., a leading manufacturer of high quality labels and label materials will implement the Radius Solutions PECAS Vision II software at its Mundelein, IL location. The decision to replace its current system came as the result of a new and very aggressive sales initiative. Print-O-Tape Controller Marty Justen says, “It’s much easier to make business decisions when you have up-to-date information.” Included in the PECAS Vision system, are modules such as automated data collection, scheduling and estimating…all of which will help Print-O-Tape to streamline its operations, and receive data much faster and in real time. The Company will also implement Supply Chain Manager, a web enabled tool that will give Print-O-Tape customers inventory control on line. The Customers can then log on line through a password protected site and view their on-hand product stock…decide whether or not they need to order more…and eventually, make product purchases. What’s more, with Radius Solutions Supply Chain Manager, Print-O-Tape will have the capability to publish a price list on their Internet site from information supported by the core PECAS Vision system, and then tie the list to a purchasing mechanism. Perhaps, one of the strongest reasons why Print-O-Tape chose Radius Solutions is location. Radius is located in Chicago, IL – just a short drive from Mundelein. Justen says, “Sometimes you need to talk to people…email and phones are fine if a program breaks down, but customization rarely works over the phone.” And with only a few miles standing between the two companies, face-to-face communication shouldn’t be a problem. Or stand in the way of Print-O-Tape’s inevitable success.
