VUTEk and 3M sign exclusive European distributor agreement for UltraVu

May 20, 2003 -- VUTEk Inc., the leading manufacturer of superwide format digital inkjet printers has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with 3M Commercial Graphics Europe. The agreement entitles 3M to distribute the new VUTEk UltraVu 150 entry-level large format printer throughout Europe. The new VUTEk UltraVu 150 wide format printer delivers the speed, quality and reliability of VUTEk"s inkjet printing systems in an industrial-strength, 1.5-meter model at a remarkably affordable price. 3M's approach for commercial graphics markets also includes extensive technical service for media applications and the option to license the Scotchprint Graphics brand, the most recognized name in these markets. Capable of printing high-quality output at high speeds, the 360 dpi solvent-based UltraVu 150 printer turbo-charges commercial imaging shops by printing high quality graphics and signage with outdoor durability up to four times faster than the speed of competitive products, with dramatically lower ink running costs.
