Moore Names James Sulat Senior Executive Vice President

MISSISSAUGA, ON & STAMFORD, CT (May 12, 2003) - Moore Corporation Limited today announced that, effective May 19th, James R. Sulat will join the company as Senior Executive Vice President. He will report to Mark Angelson, Chief Executive of Moore. Mr. Sulat comes to Moore from Chiron, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company with market capitalization of $8 billion, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Mr. Sulat held senior finance and operating positions with Stanford Health Services and Esprit de Corp. At Chiron, Mr. Sulat was responsible for a broad range of administrative and financial functions, and was a member of Chiron’s Executive Committee. Previously, he managed the strategic planning and merger processes for the creation of Stanford Health Services, its combination with Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, and the creation of UCSF Stanford Health Care. As Vice President of Operations at Esprit de Corp, Mr. Sulat was responsible for most operating functions at that company. Mr. Angelson stated, “Jim will provide wisdom and a wealth of relevant experience as we embark upon our merger with Wallace Computer Services”. Mr. Angelson continued, “Jim will have a broad portfolio at Moore, working closely with me, Mark Hiltwein, our CFO, and Tom Quinlan, our integration czar. Jim is a superb executive and a great teacher. He will round out our team and help to take us to the next level.” Mr. Sulat is a graduate of Yale University and of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
