FORT LEE, NJ - May 4, 2003 - Sun Chemical, the world’s largest manufacturer of printing inks and organic pigments, has announced the creation of Vivitek, a services and distribution company that will offer a wide range of services and non-ink consumable products for prepress, pressroom and finishing operations. “Many printers have expressed interest in buying from a single source the multitude of products they use in their graphic processes,” according to William Glass, Vivitek General Manager. “Printers have indicated they want to do business with a supplier who has a broad product line and the expertise to provide timely service and support. No matter how the order is placed, Glass said a single call to Vivitek will provide technical support for any product. They also can receive a single invoice of non-ink consumables to help track and control spending.
