June 20, 2003 -- At Labelexpo Europe 2003, taking place at Brussels Expo on 24–27 September 2003, the leading Spanish narrow web printing equipment manufacturer Rotatek, S.A. will present its label and flexible packaging printing solutions – including the combined offset-flexo label printing presses and the new label slitter re-winder with die-cutting unit for blank label production. The Rotatek machines have a modular conception which makes them easy to adjust to the individual customer needs and are suitable to print and convert on a wide variety of materials. Rotatek will also be exhibiting a Combi-press which can integrate different printing systems such as offset, flexo, silkscreen, hot stamping - and the latest technology of cold stamping, where the glue can be applied either with a flexo or an offset printing unit. In addition, the modular construction of the hybrid press make it possible to include a variety of processing and finishing units, all in-line. The Combi-press is designed to satisfy the increasing demands for excellent printing quality in the label and packaging markets, especially in the wine and cosmetic industry, and follows the basic concepts of all Rotatek presses: flexibility, easy access, quick change and an excellent price-quality ratio.
