Neenah Paper to Honor Designers for Environmental Organization Identity Programs

Press release from the issuing company

ROSWELL, Ga., April 21 -- In observance of Earth Day, Neenah Paper announces a contest to recognize graphic design excellence among non-profit, pro-environment organizations. The "Design for the Environment" Contest asks graphic designers to submit examples of brochures, letterhead, annual reports or other printed materials developed for non-profit environmental organizations. Materials will be judged for overall look, layout, use of color, and use of environmentally responsible paper. The winning designer will receive $1,000 in cash, $1,000 for their designated non-profit organization, plus $500 worth of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified ENVIRONMENT Paper from Neenah Paper. "At Neenah Paper, we care about the environment and want to support other organizations and individuals with similar missions," says Gerry Rector, senior product development manager, Neenah Paper. "Earth Day is the perfect opportunity to honor those who have made a difference in helping environmental organizations create compelling outreach and identity materials." To enter the "Design for the Environment" Contest, graphic designers can visit www.neenahpaper.com/earth for official rules and entry requirements. The deadline for entries is June 30. "We expect to see some striking examples of the use of environmentally responsible paper through this contest," says Rector. "Both non-profit and for-profit organizations are realizing that recycled papers are economically priced, are available in a variety of color options, and have excellent printability and ink holdout, making them a perfect option for virtually all design and printing needs."
