MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April 21, 2003 -- Zomax Incorporated today announced the launch of its new Print- On-Demand capabilities that extend the company's existing suite of outsourced supply chain services. The new offering enables a seamless, on-demand model and provides high quality documents customized to individual customers. The new offering is enabled through a partnership with Digital Logistix, a leading provider of Digital Printing Services, and leverages advanced digital printing technology and web-based print management capabilities. The solutions are integrated with existing Zomax supply chain services allowing customers to customize documentation, manuals and promotional materials, and bundle them just-in-time with their products as they bring them to market. Digital Logistix has deployed Heidelberg color and black & white equipment within the Zomax Fremont, California production facility which can output millions of impressions per month with a variety of bindery and paper stock options. Customers can personalize output and leverage the efficient web- enabled document ordering, management, and fulfillment system.
