Xerox To Drive Customer Growth, Dominate Digital Printing At Drupa

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 21, 2003 – Xerox today announced its plans to host the largest booth solely focused on digital print technology at drupa 2004, a quadrennial trade fair that hosts hundreds of thousands of graphic arts experts from more than 50 countries. First exhibiting in 1995, Xerox has become a cornerstone supporter of the event. In 2000, Xerox chose drupa as the venue for unveiling the groundbreaking technology behind the DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press. In 2004, Xerox will demonstrate the industry’s widest portfolio of digital production systems, solutions and services. In addition, Xerox plans to unveil new monochrome and color offerings. “We consider Xerox to be one of our anchor exhibitors,” said Eva Teichmann, vice president, marketing, Messe Düsseldorf North America. “In 2004, drupa will provide even more value to attendees and we are confident that Xerox will demonstrate its position in the digital print marketplace.” “At Xerox we believe that providing state-of-the-art digital printing products is only part of the story,” said Thomas F. Wetjen, vice president, Xerox Graphic Arts Industry Business. “We want to help our customers profit and grow. Xerox will provide numerous educational opportunities at drupa 2004 to help print providers achieve a new level of success.” Planning for the upcoming exhibition began at a drupa 2000 press conference when Xerox chairman and CEO Anne M. Mulcahy committed the company to “a massive presence” at drupa 2004. The show will be held from May 6-19 at the Düsseldorf Fairgrounds, Düsseldorf, Germany. The Xerox booth is 37,674 square feet and will be located in Hall 13.
