Jet Offers Earth Friendly Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Downers Grove, Illinois (7/5/07)- In Jet’s continuing efforts and commitment to the environment, they have been working on a number of initiatives to provide their clients with a full suite of earth friendly solutions.
Through SmartWood, a division of the Rainforest Alliance, Jet has earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)  Chain of Custody certification,, an international non-profit organization devoted to encouraging responsible management of the world’s forests. This allows Jet’s clients to use FSC-certified papers and display the FSC logo to show their dedication and also allow consumers worldwide to recognize products that support the growth of responsible forest management worldwide.
"We are very pleased to announce that Jet is now certified by the SmartWood program of the Rain Forest Alliance and Forest Stewardship Council,” said Jeff Norby, President of Jet. “This certification is an important facet of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the options they need and helping to improve the environment for all of us."
In addition to the FSC certification, Jet offers NatureWorks PLA, a renewable plastic substrate made from corn as well as Post Industrial Recycled PVC and Biodegradable Styrene. At the same time, Jet has expanded their own internal efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle and will continue to make efforts to develop, test and release value-added solutions that provide their clients opportunities to improve our collective environment.
