Press release from the issuing company

Wilmington, Mass., April 15, 2003 – Agfa Monotype Corp. has released the complete font collections from GalloFonts and Présence Typo on Fonts.com. The release adds over 200 fonts that can be previewed, purchased and downloaded from the library page of www.fonts.com. The GalloFonts collection contains 69 fonts and font packages described by founder and designer Gerald Gallo as “original, unique and useful alphabetical, ornament and specialty fonts.” Among the alphabet fonts is Pleasant Hand, a casual script that imitates informal handwriting. Leaf Assortment, with its 94 precisely drawn leaf designs, is among the collection’s ornament fonts. GalloFonts are available for Macintosh and Windows platforms in both PostScript and TrueType formats. Prices for individual GalloFonts begin at $22 with volumes of two or more fonts starting at $39.60. The Présence Typo collection contains 143 fonts and font packages from 14 typeface families. Among the text designs is the 18-font Alinea family. Alinea, a former ATypI type competition winner, is available in serif, incise, and sans variations. The Présence Typo assortment also contains various display designs including Madisonian, a sophisticated script available in light, bold and engraved weights. The fonts in the Présence Typo collection are available for Macintosh and Windows platforms in both PostScript and TrueType font formats. Prices for individual fonts in the collection begin at $34, with volumes of three or more fonts starting at $79. “The new fonts from Présence Typo and GalloFonts are distinctive, clever, high-quality additions to Fonts.com,” said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Agfa Monotype. “These are some of the qualities that customers have come to expect from the numerous collections available from Fonts.com.”
