Lexmark raises the bar with comprehensive business solutions lineup

LEXINGTON, Ky., April 7, 2003 -- Lexmark International, Inc. today offered business customers of all sizes a wide-ranging array of laser and multifunction printers that feature compelling performance, outstanding value, and innovative workflow solutions to improve knowledge worker productivity. "We are bringing more functionality and performance to the desktop for our customers. And we are arming our channel partners with reliable products and solutions that will make it easier for them to differentiate their solutions and exceed their customers' expectations." These announcements, along with the 22 ppm Lexmark T420d and the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite previously announced in January, provide a comprehensive suite of unique, industry leading solutions for business customers. Easier product acquisition through price reductions Lexmark also lowered its prices today on four previously announced printers, making it even more affordable for customers to own the company's award-winning printing solutions. The Lexmark T420d is a fast, durable and networkable monochrome laser printer that is ideal for distributed printing enterprise environments and small and medium businesses. The base model Lexmark T420d has been reduced in price $100 (now $549) and the networkable model is available now for $999. The Lexmark C720 color laser printer, a powerful and fast business tool that helps companies gain a competitive edge and enhance their printed communications with photo-quality color output, is now available for $899, a reduction of $300. A networkable model is also available for a new low price of just $1,399. All of today's announcements demonstrate Lexmark's commitment to enabling customers to improve their workflow processes and reduce costs by printing smarter, moving information faster and managing the output environment more effectively.
