EFI: Velocity Exchange Enables Print Centers to Offer Efficient Online Services

Velocity Exchange(TM) is an online application for print providers and customers that increases productivity through automating print job order management. With the addition of Exchange, the Velocity suite provides a seamless, total solution for managing digital workflows from job submission to prepress to print production. Velocity Exchange will be demonstrated at On Demand, the premiere digital printing and publishing show taking place this week at the Javits Convention Center in New York. Velocity Exchange enables online communication between print centers and their customers, enhancing customer service, streamlining the order management process, and increasing productivity. Through the secure, controlled Velocity Exchange interface, customers can submit job orders online and track progress with real-time job status updates. A range of digital tools facilitates in-shop workflow from order receiving to remote proofing and approvals, speeds job completion time and makes the entire process run faster and more smoothly. Velocity Exchange is an ideal solution for small to mid-size print centers such as in-plants, corporate and educational reproduction departments, print-for-pay and quick print shops.
