GAMIS Launches New Subscription Service

Press release from the issuing company

ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 3, 2003) – The Graphic Arts Marketing Information Service (GAMIS), a special interest group of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation/Printing Industries of America (GATF/PIA), the leading market research association for the printing industry, announced today the launching of a new GAMIS Subscription Service. The GAMIS Subscription Service makes it possible for individuals to receive executive summaries of GAMIS research results via an annual subscription. In the past, only GAMIS members had timely access to the data. “This is a way for GAMIS to reach a broader audience and for non-member firms to get a timely look at summaries of GAMIS research reports,” said Eric Frank, VP Marketing, KBA North America and current GAMIS President. “In the past, there was no guarantee that a GAMIS report would be sold, and even so, non-members had to wait at least six months before the results were released by GAMIS to the public.” Non-GAMIS members can become a Bronze level Subscriber and receive executive summaries automatically when the research is completed. They will also enjoy significant savings on the purchase of full studies and have an opportunity to attend research study presentations at a discount. GAMIS is also launching a Gold and Silver Subscriber service for individuals from GAMIS member firms throughout the world who want to be ‘more in the know’ by receiving their own copies of executive summaries or research reports as they are published. Every year GAMIS conducts 3-5 critical research studies valued at more than $300,000 on key issues like the market potential for digital printing, the globalization of print buying and the future and direction of package printing. For more information about this new service or to subscribe, contact Jamie Erdman at GAMIS headquarters at (703) 519-8144, or [email protected]. Details can also be found at www.gamis.org.
