Wednesday, March 26, 2003

Press release from the issuing company

CHESAPEAKE, VA (March 25, 2003) – Yupo Corporation America, a leading manufacturer of synthetic papers, announces today a strategic partnership agreement with Protect-all Print Media Inc. of Darien, WI. Protect-all Print Media now offers YUPO paper with value added coatings that are ideal for numerous specialized printing applications, including: ski lift tags, baggage tags, industrial tags, and food and beverage labels. Protect-all Print Media, a master converter of performance films, coatings and laminations, specializes in the supply of synthetic paper. "We are excited about this new venture and all the possibilities the YUPO synthetic substrate offers," says Steve Nimz, President and CEO of Protect-all Print Media, Inc. "Now that we are able to supply our customers with a high-end synthetic substrate, we look forward to adding value to YUPO with print enhancing top coats, adhesives and special laminations." YUPO paper combines exceptional surface smoothness and durability with razor sharp print quality. Available in a variety of grades, it stands up to the wear and tear of production filling lines, shipment handling, and frequent consumer use for a long-lasting premium appeal. YUPO synthetic paper is also water and chemical resistant, and 100 percent recyclable. "This partnership will enable YUPO to reach small-to-medium graphic communication companies requiring high-end synthetic paper for unique and innovative applications," says Paul Mitcham, National Marketing Manager, Yupo Corporation America. "This venture is a direct result of our commitment to provide customers, both large and small, with high quality products and services to gain a competitive advantage."
