NUR Macroprinters sells 500th NUR Salsa series wide-format printer

Press release from the issuing company

Lod, Israel; March 24, 2003 - NUR Macroprinters, a leading supplier of wide-format inkjet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, reports that it has recently installed the 500th unit in its cost-effective NUR Salsa series of wide-format photo-realistic inkjet printers. In a related announcement, NUR Macroprinters announced that, in anticipation of the launch of the NUR Ultima mid-range production printers later this year, the company has lowered the prices of printers in its entry-level NUR Salsa product line. “Selling the 500th Salsa printer is a major milestone for us,” says Ron Michael, vice-president of marketing at NUR Macroprinters Ltd. “We've come a long way with the NUR Salsa product line since our purchase of the former Salsa Digital's assets in 2000. We've made many enhancements to the base system over the years, including embedding many of the technologies we pioneered in the NUR Fresco series, to take a solid product and give it even higher quality and productivity.”
