NORCROSS, GA (July 9, 2007) – Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America, has announced plans to increase its presence in the North Carolina and Virginia marketplaces, primarily focusing on Charlotte, Richmond, Norfolk, and the Research Triangle area, including Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
Directing growth plans for Unisource’s Paper Sales unit in North Carolina and Virginia is Business Manager Jay Bean, who recently relocated to the area and accepted a new assignment.  Previously, he has successfully managed local and national paper businesses in the company’s National Accounts group in the Northeast and Atlanta market areas.
“We have several new product lines and offerings to meet the needs of Piedmont companies,” said Bean, “and we plan to aggressively pursue new clients while providing outstanding service to our current clients.”  He can be reached at 1-919-661-3946.
"As one of the United States’ largest distributors of paper, our goal is to offer North Carolina and Virginia customers the best value in the marketplace,” said John Glaze, Unisource’s Area Vice President of Sales – Paper, in the Southeast.   “Considering current market conditions in the region, this is the right time to expand our services and offerings to potential customers.  We will cover the anticipated demand by adding several experienced sales professionals to our team.”
Unisource supplies commercial printers and publishers and a broad range of industry segments with the leading brands of paper and imaging supplies.
