Recent Events Bolster Xplor International Financial Well-Being

Press release from the issuing company

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, MARCH 18, 2003 - Xplor International has received a large settlement for an insurance claim relating to the loss of revenues for the 2001 Global Electronic Document Systems Conference and Exhibit due to the events of September 11, 2001. Prior to this receipt, Xplor had already paid or discharged virtually all the debts relating to that conference with the financial support of Champion Expositions Inc. The settlement further enhances Xplor's financial well-being, substantially adding to its reserves. Xplor International had a successful global conference and exhibit in Anaheim in October 2002, with better than expected attendance that was sharply higher than attendance at the same event in 2001. Xplor believes that its large membership base and tradition in quality education at its annual conference has enabled it to escape many of the negative effects of the downturn in technology trade shows that have devastated both for-profit trade shows and their exposition suppliers. Xplor International is also announcing a change in its global event production. In 2002, Champion Expositions provided services to help Xplor produce the 2002 Conference and Exhibit. In recent weeks, in light of Xplor's financial stability and success in 2002, Xplor agreed to Champion's request to dissolve the services agreement to eliminate duplication of effort in program management.  This change allows Xplor International, a membership organization, greater operating flexibility to ensure a successful 2003 Global Conference and increased commitment to bringing value to its members.  Champion will continue as Xplor's general contractor for exhibitor (decorator) services for 2003, as they have for the past four years. This year's event, Xplor's 24th Global Electronic Document Systems Conference and Exhibit to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 26-29, 2003, will include innovative educational opportunities as Xplor strengthens its commitment to its members and to the industry to provide the highest quality conference and exhibit.
