SWOP certification validates the Matchprint Virtual Proofing System’s ability to deliver accurate RGB monitor viewing of CMYK color reproduction that reliably predicts final printed color in the web offset environment. “Achieving SWOP certification is a major development in addressing the most common concern of printers, advertising agencies and other graphic arts companies-the viability of monitor proofing to conform to universally recognized standards such as SWOP,” says Nancy Matchey, Product Manager, KPG. “Combining the Matchprint Virtual Proofing System’s proven color capability with the speed and efficiency of transferring files electronically delivers on the promise and benefits of a fully digital workflow.” With the Matchprint Virtual Proofing System, color proofs can be transported, viewed and approved or electronically marked and returned for corrections within minutes.
