The new NUR Spirit inks have been designed and tested to ensure optimal results from the company’s wide-format printers and presses. The NUR Spirit ink system is the result of a new development framework that encompasses the three areas that are most critical for obtaining high performance from wide-format inkjet printers and presses: ink technology, color gamut, and application requirements. The framework provides a technologically integrated development path for new inks that will meet NUR customers’ exacting needs today and well into the future. The new NUR Spirit inks deliver rich vibrant color and have been extensively tested to ensure 100% compatibility with all NUR machines. They also provide the widest color gamut in the wide-format inkjet production printing industry. In addition, they provide a uniform color gamut across all NUR machines. This ensures color consistency and matching output for use in multi-application campaigns for which components are produced on multiple NUR printers. NUR Spirit inks have been designed to perform consistently over time in a wide variety of environmental conditions to achieve maximum outdoor durability. They will maximize the reliability and productivity of all NUR printers while optimizing their flexibility and useful life. Additional ink sets that have distinctive characteristics based on the new NUR Spirit development framework, in terms of technology, gamut or application suitability, are planned for the future. NUR Spirit S series solvent-based inks The first new inks available in the NUR Spirit ink system range are the NUR Spirit S series of solvent-based pigmented inks for the NUR Blueboard, NUR Fresco and NUR Salsa series printers. This multi-purpose set of state-of-the-art, pigmented, solvent-based inks are formulated to ensure the highest level of compatibility and performance from NUR Macroprinters’ wide-format inkjet production printers and presses. NUR Spirit S series inks deliver superior image quality and color consistency for a variety of general purpose wide-format printing applications.
