BDI Reports High Satisfaction with Exstream's Dialogue Software

Press release from the issuing company

March 13, 2003 -- Exstream Software, Inc. announced today that Business Data, Inc. (BDI) is a satisfied user of its Dialogue software. BDI, a privately held corporation located in Los Angeles, California, provides outsource solutions for more than 150 credit unions, as well as a number of companies in other industries. Dialogue is making it possible for BDI to expand its delivery capabilities by dramatically improving time to market, producing customized financial statements and related marketing support materials 20 to 50 times faster than before. BDI selected Dialogue for several reasons; Its high performance engine; its ability to automatically map and process XML input; its ease in creating targeted marketing messages and campaigns for automatic insertion into documents at run time; and its ability to deliver complex communications through multiple delivery channels. With the support of Dialogue, BDI is able to offer document design alternatives to customers at production speeds that significantly enhance the workflow. BDI now encourages customers to challenge the traditional document format, taking advantage of features like dynamic import of third party images into documents at run time (such as checks and graphics). “When Dialogue was presented to us, all other options fell completely away. We were amazed at the unprecedented speed and flexibility Dialogue delivers,” said Paul Holtzman, president and CEO of Business Data, Inc. “It was apparent Exstream had architected a solution that represented everything we were looking for. We are excited about our delivery capabilities today and the role that Dialogue will play in our ability to offer more in the future.” A further benefit to BDI is Dialogue's support of a diverse range of output formats for print and electronic communications. BDI can accept virtually any input stream and convert it to XML for subsequent processing by Dialogue. Additionally, because Dialogue creates fully composed PDF output, BDI ensures accuracy by posting production samples on the Internet for secure review and approval. The PDF files are also used for web archive, electronic presentment of statements, and export to COLD and electronic document management systems. “When our customers are able to expand and grow their business because of Dialogue,” said Davis Marksbury, president and CEO of Exstream Software, Inc. “Knowing that Dialogue helped BDI create a more meaningful product for its customers fulfills our vision for Dialogue. Dialogue is designed to leverage every touch point to connect with customers through personalized information that is relevant and timely. It is gratifying to see BDI and its customers benefit from its capabilities.”
