HP to Launch Printing Consultancy

Press release from the issuing company

March 11, 2003 -- (WhatTheyThink.com) -- HP will announce today details on a new imaging and printing services and solution which has been described as a printing consultancy business to help companies cut costs. HP wants to help businesses find a balance between encouraging employee creativity and reducing printing costs. Various media reported that the announcement will be made at the CeBIT technology trade show today. Frank Cloutier, HP's imaging and printer group's CTO told a Forum yesterday that the consultancy will help find a balance between cutting the cost of printing and encouraging employee creativity. Cloutier suggested that any company's printing costs can be halved and claimed the new HP consultancy would focus on its customer's needs. "If someone else's hardware plays better for the customer, we'll not only encourage but specify its use," Cloutier stated.
