Komori America Merges Midwest Sales Territories

Rolling Meadows, IL -- March 5, 2003 -- Komori America Corporation announced today the consolidation of the Komori HRB and Komori Midwest sales territories. Mike VanCalbergh, Vice-President, Sales, Midwest Region, will manage the new territory out of Komori America’s corporate headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL. The new territory will cover IL, IA, ND, SD, WI, MN, MO, OH, IN, MI, W.VA, KY, W.PA and TN. Stephan Carter, President and COO of Komori America says, “Merging these two territories allows us to build a regional sales synergy in the Midwest. These two sales organizations have always been top performers, and we believe that bringing them together will make them an even more dynamic team.” Carter says the Komori HRB service organization will remain in place, under the management of Komori’s National Service Center in Rolling Meadows, IL. “Our customers will continue to receive a high level of service support, and will have expanded access to the resources of Komori’s national service organization. We see this as a win-win situation for everyone, ” says Carter. Consolidation of the two organizations should be completed by March 31, 2003.
