UV Adhesives for Through-Cure Cold Foil Applications

Press release from the issuing company

Oak Creek, Wisconsin: Northwest Coatings is pleased to announce the introduction of several new UV adhesives designed for in-line through-cure cold foil applications. These new UV adhesives have been designed for various types of in-line application processes. The UV adhesive is printed in the desired pattern followed by specially designed foil being nipped onto the wet adhesive. The adhesive is then cured by UV exposure through the foil, after which the carrier film and excess foil are stripped leaving the desired foil pattern. Many printing and packaging converters are expressing interest in this technology, and Northwest Coatings is pleased to offer these new UV adhesives at attractive prices. Adhesives have been designed to run on both paper and film substrates. Northwest Coatings manufactures UV/EB curable and water base coatings and adhesives for the printing and converting markets, as well as other industrial applications.
