ATLANTA, GA, February 25, 2003 — Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), the leading provider of automatic optical inspection systems for web printing applications, has expanded its North American sales organization with the addition of two new regional sales management posts reporting to Lance Shumaker, President of AVT (USA) who announced the appointments. Ron Hadar has been appointed Sales Manager of the Western Region. The region comprises California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, Idaho and the western provinces of Canada. His office is located in Southern California in the town of Encino. Mr. Hadar was previously a Sales Representative for AVT Ltd. with responsibility for all sales in countries outside of Europe and the Americas. J. Chris Leyes has been appointed Sales Manager of the South Central Region. This region includes Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Kansas. Leyes is headquartered in Cinncinatti, Ohio. He joined AVT from KBA North America as a Regional Manager, and previously was an account manager for the Pitman Company.
