MediaExpress Selects MediaBank Digital Asset Management System

Press release from the issuing company

Los Angeles, CA February 25, 2003 – MediaExpress announced today that it has partnered with WAVE Corporation to offer the MediaBank digital asset management (DAM) solution to its clients. The announcement signals the latest effort by MediaExpress to enhance the capabilities of its WebToPrint service offerings. MediaExpress’s WebToPrint application delivers personalized and customized direct marketing programs to a diversified client base, including General Motors, Colonial Williamsburg, Associated Press, and National Association of Wholesalers. WebToPrint is offered on an ASP basis or as a fully integrated, in-house product. “After an in-depth review of the DAM offerings in the market we selected MediaBank from WAVE Corporation. Its reliability, scalability and affordability combine with an impressive feature set to make it a winner,” said Nicholas Seet, CTO and Co-Founder of MediaExpress. “It was imperative that the solution we selected integrate seamlessly with our WebToPrint platform and still offer a robust, enterprise-class feature set.” MediaBank is an enterprise asset management application for cross-media publishing that enables organizations to more efficiently manage, use and share their digital assets across the enterprise. MediaBank’s design reflects the many ways that editorial and production professionals work with, track, and report on their digital assets. “MediaExpress is an excellent partner for us. They can deliver the power of MediaBank as part of a fully integrated solution for publishers, advertisers and direct marketers,” stated Charles Roberson, Channel Manager for WAVE Corporation. “Each of these segments needs to organize a wide variety of digital assets, from photos and images to documents of various types and formats throughout the project workflow. MediaBank adds significant value to the WebToPrint application.”
