Press release from the issuing company

New York, New York, -- eCopy, Inc., a leading provider of products that transform paper documents into digital information, today announced the eCopy Connector for iManage WorkSite. The new connector will enable legal firms worldwide to turn their paper documents into electronic images that can be scanned and mailed, faxed, and now stored in WorkSite directly from a digital copier or document scanner. “The legal industry is inundated with paper documents that need to be organized, instantly accessible and stored—which can be a massive undertaking when you’re handling thousands of documents” said Keith Kmetz, program director, Multifunction Peripherals and Solutions, IDC. “The eCopy Connector for iManage WorkSite will enable law firms to merge all of their paper documents into existing electronic workflows eliminating the need to store boxes of paper, and making documents accessible and easy to find for all employees.” The eCopy Suite of products, coupled with the high-speed scanning capabilities of a Canon digital copier or scanner, enable any user in an organization to transform paper documents into information that is easily integrated into all commonly used business applications. Using the eCopy Suite of products, companies can provide shared access to high-speed scanners or digital copiers that connect to the company’s e-mail and other networked enterprise applications for low-cost, easy, instantaneous distribution and management of electronic copies of paper documents. With the development of the eCopy Connector, these scanned documents can now easily be added to a firm’s WorkSite. “Legal firms work with large volumes of paper documents every day, and increasingly iManage customers require an integrated solution for these documents to assist them in building an equivalent to the paper file through Matter Centric Collaboration ,” said Keith Lipman, iManage’s Director, Legal Industry Solutions. “eCopy’s Connector for WorkSite will provide iManage customers with an easy to use, integrated solution from a recognized industry leader.” Shipping in March, the eCopy Connector for iManage WorkSite can be purchased through authorized Canon or eCopy resellers for $2,995.00.
