ALEXANDRIA, VA (January 29, 2003) -XML Conference and Exposition 2003, the premier conference and exposition exclusively focused on XML standards, applications, and technology, moves to the Philadelphia Convention Center, December 8-12, in December of 2003. Produced by IDEAlliance, the 2003 event will focus on the very latest in XML technologies, showcase the most cutting-edge XML tools, and will once again feature the most prominent experts in the field. "The XML 2002 event recently held in Baltimore, in December, saw a 35% increase in attendance over the previous year," said David Steinhardt, President and CEO at IDEAlliance. "Despite the economic challenges that were being faced in 2002, this increase shows the importance that XML continues to play in the IT industry. In 2003, it is clear that XML will continue to provide solutions and positively impact the future of technology worldwide." Highlights of the 2003 event will include keynote addresses from industry experts, open forums, vendor session, user group meetings, in-depth tutorials, and the largest XML Expo, in the world.
