Columbia Insurance Group Implements Docucorp Publishing, Workflow Software

Press release from the issuing company

DALLAS---Jan. 22, 2003--Docucorp International, a leading provider of enterprise information solutions, announced today that Columbia Insurance Group, a multi-line insurance company, has implemented Docucorp's publishing and workflow solutions to enhance its policy production capabilities. "As we experienced rapid growth within our company and increased competition in the industry, it became increasingly important to be able to streamline our workflow and publishing process," said Dennis D. Roth, vice president, change management, project manager of Columbia Insurance Group. "We needed an enterprise-wide system for automatic and rules-based policy generation, which would also allow us to manage our workflow. Docucorp was the only provider who could deliver a one-source solution to meet all of our publishing, archiving, imaging and workflow needs." "Docucorp's workflow solution works seamlessly with our robust publishing solution and allows Columbia to set version and security controls within the workflow process, ensuring that process flows are followed and that all the necessary approvals are made," said William D. Barry, Docucorp's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "By implementing these processes, Columbia can better manage the creation of its policies and correspondence, as well as enhance its customer service and reduce costs."
